Collaborative Documentation
WORKSHOP
This workshop will be used to reflect on the day’s discoveries and generate content ideas for a collaborative publication that will document today’s content. Using ‘Liberating Structures’ techniques, we will arrive at a plan to develop our thoughts into publishable texts online over the following four weeks. These texts will also be published in a physical booklet that can be distributed at conventions, conferences, festivals and training spaces to share our individual engagements with today’s themes, offering multiple perspectives on the emergent topics, and platforming the voices of those who have participated today.

Katharine Kavanagh is the founder and editor of The Circus Diaries, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this month as the UK’s only ongoing publication dedicated to circus critique. She is currently pursuing a PhD at Cardiff University investigating the linguistic representation of circus audience experience in promotional texts, funded via the ESRC Wales DTP.
