CLOSING STATEMENT
What can we learn from today? Can we believe in a sense of progress forged through this gathering? Before the collaborative documentation workshop, our very own Thom Hamer will conclude the talks and performances with some closing remarks, reflecting on the lessons from the day.

Thom Hamer is a full-time doctoral researcher in philosophy at Cardiff University and University of Southampton, funded by the AHRC SWWDTP. His research works along the intersections of existential philosophy, literary studies, linguistics and psychology, and focuses on questions of existential post-irony, asking to what extent the metamodern notion of sincerity can provide an authentic response to the absurdity of our existence.
